Saying Goodbye to Boise! I met Carrie at the Little Gym back in the beginning of 2021. I had a newborn and was bringing Camryn to a combo ballet/gym class. Let’s just say I wasn’t getting out much!

Liz had booked me months prior to this session. We thought about fall family photos and then she switched to winter, thinking it would be fun to do a snowy session. Snow is a little difficult in that you’ve got to be ready on the fly! Also during winter kids tend to get sick more often…so we kept getting delayed.

My kids have sure loved their baba’s! Everyone has different names for them; Paci, Baba, Bubba, Bobby, Nubby, to all kinds of words I’ve never even heard of! I know that it’s recommended for kids to not have pacifiers after a certain age, and I know it’s much younger than 3.5. There are quite a few reasons I haven’t pushed my kids to drop their pacifiers at an earlier age. Let’s get down to the history of babas with our kids.

On the side I work for Natalie Tromburg Photography as her associate photographer. One great aspect about this is we’re able to take photos for each other as trades. This is the second time I have taken her familys photos. Natalie wanted to celebrate her daughter, Eden turning one with a photoshoot at Edwards Greenhouse in Boise.
